Safety and Pollution Prevention. The S/P2 goal: Train every worker and student involved in automotive repair, maintenance, and insurance claims handling on S/P2 (Safety and Pollution Prevention) issues which will reduce injury, illness, and environmental impact.
The law, and many insurance companies, require each employee and student be trained before he or she begins working and annually requalify.
Students, technicians, and insurance claims staff can have longer, satisfying careers with a higher quality of living by staying compliant with EPA and OSHA regulations.
The S/P2 program was officially launched on January 1, 2002. S/P2 has already been adopted by more than 8,450 businesses and schools in all 50 states, Bahamas, and Canada. Over 2,927,000 S/P2 tests have been taken by various industry segments including schools.
